ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

FONTS

Due to the vast amount of fonts available, all fonts must be outlined or embedded before sending the artwork. Failure to do this could result in your artwork printing with automatically substituted fonts and appearing different to intended.

RESOLUTION

To ensure high quality print, artwork or images need to be supplied at 300dpi (dots per inch) or higher at actual size. Enlarging smaller images will result in loss of quality, Anything lower than this may result in blurry, bitmapped or pixelated print. Images from the internet are 72dpi and appear fine on screen but they are not suitable for full colour printing.

COLOUR SYSTEM

Colours should be set to CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) and spot colours should be converted to CMYK process.

Please note our service is very automated and we can not be held responsible if artwork supplied in an extremely low quality results in unsuitable output.

We try to make every effort to spot these issues but clients are reminded that the detailed instruction above must be followed to ensure high quality output results. If unexpected results have been received and this is deemed to be an artwork issue we can not be held responsible for this.

Find the above confusing? We can provide professional design service starting from £40+vat.
